During the treatment, minuscule drops of BOTOX Injections are injected in the muscle. The skin can turn red and lightly swell after the treatment for one to two hours. This is normal and will subside after a while. Botox blocks the “tightening signal” between the nerves in the skin and the muscles in the skin. As a result, the muscles in the skin can no longer be (fully) tightened.
It takes about 1-2 weeks until you have maximum effect, then the ability to tighten the muscles slowly increases again. This is because new nerve endings grow to replace the blocked nerve endings. Initially, a treatment must be repeated every 3 months.

How fast will I see results?
After the treatment you will need a little more patience. Only a few days after the treatment does the muscle tension decrease and after two weeks the result becomes really visible and the wrinkles continue to decrease. This is not to say that they disappear completely. Deep wrinkles never completely disappear but generally become a lot less visible.
